Okay
Okay is a term of release that you can use to tell your dog that it is now alright for him to stop obeying the last command he was given. For example, if you have previously commanded your dog to lie Down, then, you can speak the word okay to him to tell him that it is now okay for him to get up.
Okay is also the release command used to tell a street trained dog that it is now okay to leave the curb and enter the roadway.
In addition, okay is used as a general term of permission that means either:
- Go ahead and do what you are thinking about doing, or
- Do whatever you want to do.
