   Question:
How can you use the formula to keep your dog from urinating on the carpet?
The Formula
- Give your dog something else to do.
(something rewarding that is incompatible with the problem behavior)
- Remove all the pay-offs.
 (for the problem behavior)
- Make sure that it becomes an unpleasant experience.
(every time your dog engages in the problem behavior)
Answer:
- Pet, praise, and otherwise reward your dog when he urinates ourside where he should.
- Interrupt his efforts to pee inside, and shoo him outdoors before he gets a chance to releave himself.
- Do something to make your dog feel upset every time that he begins to urinate where he should not.
