Disposition
When we speak of your dog's disposition, we are, essentially, referring to the genetically-based tendencies, inclinations, and temperament that he was born with.
In other words, the term disposition refers to more than just your dog's personality. It is a reference to how he truly is, by nature, deep down inside.
Your dog's innate disposition determines how he perceives the world around him, and to a large extent it influences what he enjoys and how he behaves.
Every breed has its own temperament, and its own individual disposition.
If you want to be happy with your dog, be sure to make it a point to select one from the breeds that are predisposed to doing things the way that you want them done.
